BIOGRAPHY
Stavros Stavrou is a music composer and multi-instrumentalist from Athens, Greece. He started his musical journey at the age of 13 learning how to play guitar and then moved on to other instruments, such as drums, bass, keyboards and vocals. At the age of 16 he quickly realized his love for classical music and started composing orchestral, cinematic and metal music. The study of the classical works of Bach, Beethoven and Schubert played a big role in his later development. Experimenting with different genres and composing music daily for almost a decade made Stavrou into a composer able to make almost any type of music.
Since 2019 Stavrou works as a freelancer music composer and ghost writer, using his skills to add feeling and texture to many indie pc and mobile video games, short films and advertisements. He has also worked on several metal, celtic and medieval albums as a ghost writer.
